Erik and Colin were both working and exhibiting at the
July 1st & 2nd 2000
They were only doing hand tattooing, using rose thorns, etc. to try to recreate the way people were working before the time of the electric tattoo machine.
Erik exhibited and worked at gallery Jensen in his hometown in Stavern, Norway - in July.
Erik and Colin
participated in the First Viking Convention in
Copenhagen, Denmark. It was a
very well attended convention. Many artists from a lot of countries, and a lot
of happy visitors. It was all arranged by Tatto-Liz from Copenhagen, who did a
great job. No bikers in uniforms allowed entry. We liked that!
Erik was awarded Artist of Honour
for his many years of working to renew the Viking Tattoo Art!
